PRESENTATIONS
In addition to the meetings for the general public, a series of meetings with a group of the city's key stakeholders was held to more closely guide the development of the final plan. Find a copy of the presentation from any of these meetings linked on the following page.
Steering Committee #1.
On August 2, 2021, the first meeting of the steering committee and the project kickoff meeting was held at the Southside Community Center.

Steering Committee #2.
On October 20, 2021, the second meeting of the steering committee was held at the Southside Community Center to present preliminary findings from the existing conditions report.

Public Meeting #1.
On November 4, 2021, the first meeting for the general public was held at the Southside Community Center to collect input on the community's vision through interactive exercises.

On February 23, 2022, the third steering committee was held at the Southside Community Center to share findings from the community outreach and gather feedback on the early direction of the final plan.

Youth Input Meeting.
On March 21, 2022, a meeting was held with a group of students at Southside High School to gather feedback directly from local youth about what they wanted the city to become as their potential future home.

On June 8, 2022, the fourth steering committee was held at the Southside Community Center to share additional public input from local youth and get feedback on the early structure and content of the final plan.

On August 30, 2022, the fifth steering committee was held at the Southside Community Center to share additional progress on the final plan and prepare the committee for the upcoming public open house.

On October 13, 2022, the second public meeting was held in an open house event at the Southside Community Center to share a draft version of the final plan goals and content with the public and gather their feedback.
